Across broken colonies and dying star systems, humanity turns its weapons inward.


Once-proud worlds burn. Armored infantry advance through the ruins of cities abandoned to history. Tanks grind forward beneath ash-choked skies. Towering war machines stalk the streets as starships trade fire in orbit overhead.

The Remnant Chronicles is a tabletop miniatures wargame set in a brutal science-fiction future where wars are decided by hard choices, dwindling supplies, and the will to hold the line when everything else falls apart.


Victory is never guaranteed.


It is earned—at a cost.


WHAT IS THE REMNANT CHRONICLES?

The Remnant Chronicles is a narrative-driven tabletop wargame focused on combined-arms ground combat in a realistic, hard sci-fi setting.


You take command of forces on the front lines of humanity’s fractured future:

• Infantry squads fighting block-to-block through shattered urban zones

• Armored vehicles and mobile fire support pushing the advance

• Robotic frames (RIGs) towering over the battlefield

• Air and orbital assets shaping the war from above


Battles are fast, tactical, and unforgiving. Units do not fight to the last man by default—they falter, withdraw, and break under pressure. Morale collapses. Lines fail. Plans unravel.


To win, you must master positioning, firepower, command, morale, and supply—because firepower alone is never enough.

A HARD SCI-FI UNIVERSE

This is not space fantasy.


Technology is powerful, but finite. Armor can stop bullets—until it can’t. Air superiority dominates battlefields, but only while fuel and support last. Orbital fire can end a war in minutes, but its use is rare, costly, and never without consequence.


Every faction in The Remnant Chronicles is defined by its military doctrine and philosophy, reflected both in the lore and on the tabletop:

• Professional expeditionary forces enforcing order at gunpoint

• Ideological protectors and insurgents fighting for survival and belief

• AI-governed states and human coalitions locked in cold calculation

• Raiders, mercenaries, and independents carving out power in the margins

Welcome to The Remnant Chronicles.

During the Interstellar Era, space is organized into different levels of territorial control. The smallest division is a System, consisting of a single sun and its planets. Several Systems, usually 3-4, make up a Sub-Sector, some times called a Domain. Multiple sub-sectors, also typically 3-4, form a Sector. The largest division is a Sphere, which represents the entire expanse of space claimed by a major power, encompassing numerous Sectors. This hierarchical structure helps to manage and govern the vast territories controlled by the factions during this turbulent period.
